David Botler advises on all matters of corporate law and capital markets law. A particular focus of his practice is advising on crisis-related corporate and restructuring matters. Another key area of Mr. Botler`s work is litigation. He also advises on the preparation and conduct of general and shareholders’ meetings .
David Botler is an Associate at Wilken Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB. After studying law at the University of Bonn, he worked as a research associate at the Düsseldorf office of an international business law firm. He completed his legal traineeship in Cologne, with additional placements in Berlin and Los Angeles. David Botler is currently pursuing a doctorate at the University of Cologne on a topic at the intersection of insolvency law, corporate law and general civil law. Prior to joining Wilken Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB, he spent two years as an attorney and doctoral researcher in the insolvency and restructuring practice of an international business law firm in Cologne and Stuttgart. David Botler is fluent in German, English, and Brazilian Portuguese.
